Pomp and Circumstance – Four Part Flex Band

The processional march used for graduation and promotion programs, in a simple four-part flex arrangement.

Grade ½ – 1
Part I range is Low B♭ – C (optional E♭), and includes ♪♩ ♪ syncopation.
Parts II, III, and IV ranges are  limited (Low A♭ – G), and rhythms include only quarter notes and quarter rests. Part II includes E♮, and Part III includes an A♭. The parts may easily be played by first year players.

A Ceremonial March

A Ceremonial March is a stately march, appropriate appropriate for concert, festival, or commencement ceremonies. It is playable by the youngest of bands, and can be used to teach march style.
